We stayed only one night at the Oaks so a short review - we are pretty well travelled and have stayed in a wide range of accom. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment (separate keys) which looked over the pool - good reception, comfy rooms, well appointed and decorated.
However breakfast was unfortunately not as good - poor variety in cereals, or toasts, and bought pastries (the frozen bulk kind) served. Considering the tropical location of Broome, and the fact that a mango farm is local, the fruit platter was terrible. The coffee was filtered and bitter. No a'la carte menu offered even though there were only two tables in the restaurant at the time. $16 pp for continental.
Great location, and hopefully the breakfast is going to improve. The Black Pearl restaurant is open for breakfast (1 min walk ) overlooking Roebuck Bay across the road - if you want to get out of the hotel.More
