The Broome Town Beach would be easy to overlook, in that it's location is a bit further away from all the other attractions in town. It's close to the Historical Society Museum though, so combine your visit with that and neither will disappoint. The Town Beach has a great little cafe open for breakfast and lunch with fantastic views over the bay and an inviting beach. There's a playground with water features adjacent to the cafe that people with children will appreciate and children will love. There also appears to be a small camping ground and would be my pick of locations to stay if I arrived back in Broome in a camper of some sorts.

My kids had a ball and I got to have a coffee at the town beach cafe in peace while watching them. Great idea for families with little ones:)

This is a great photographic beach, we got some lovely interesting nature photos of trees in the ocean and just general land formations. There is also the pioneer cemetery on the other side of the carpark with "Diamond Jacks" grave site. Right on the beachfront there is a kids water playground so a good spot for families. We didn't get to the little cafe but apparently it is a regular for the locals.

Town beach is firstly not in town but out of town and its hardly a beach. Its good when the markets are on for staircase to the Moon but other wise I would bother to make the long trip.

This is always a very popular spot with the water so tempting in colour, access to public toilets, parking, fun water spouts for the children to play on/under, the beach for swimmers & boaties as well as the ability to purchase something to nibble on. There's plenty of shaded area to enjoy a picnic as well. Always worth a visit when in Broome!
