“Needs a shake up across the board”
Reviewed 3 August 2012

In spite of the renovations a couple of years ago, the dining venues seem tired, pooly furnished and has almost the worst accoustics in Broome. You end up with a sore throat from yelling all night at your friends. I have had awfull experiences with overcooked/reheated food which was inedible. I'll only go there if someone else is paying! I've chucked my Accord card as a consequence. They always seem to be understaffed. Maybe that's a local management issue.

“Dated decor, average food”
Reviewed 29 June 2012

From the moment we walked in, the decor hit you like a slap in the face. The floor tiles are old and very dated, the ambience non existent and the atmosphere cold. Formica tabletops with no linen, plastic chairs with chrome legs.........yuk!

The garlic bread did not have a garlic taste and the re-order (with the Chef's apologies too, I might add) also seemed to lack that garlic taste and aroma.

The starters of salt and pepper squid and curry puffs were both disappointing. The squid was no longer crispy and the curry puffs whilst hot, lacked that crispy pastry. It was soft. They also were not made on premises, but rather something from your local supermarket's cold shelf.

Mains of Fillet Mignon and lamb cutlets were both good... and not so good. The cutlets, whilst well cooked, were small and fatty and the salad was just tossed on the plate with three small pieces of roasted pumpkin. A very messy looking dish. The Filet was cooked perfectly, the red wine jus was lovely but the roasted cherry tomatoes were tart.

Front of house: Service was not bad at all, however there were times when we had to hail a waitress.
