Stayed here one night for work. The room I stayed in was quite spacious and had a nice large bathroom. The room was very quiet at night (a big plus for me) so had a great nights sleep.

Did some work in the business centre which was very small with no windows - so don't spent a lot of time in there.

One lovely touch was a complimentary toiletry set (including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand cream, sewing kit) and magazine that was left in my room.

Room Tip: If you want a room facing the river, ask for one on a higher floor (lower floors are near swimming p...

Hi po-purri, thank you for reviewing us on Trip Advisor. We are glad you found the room spacious and quite. It would be great if the business centre had Swan River views too, however it might be considered distracting... It's great to hear you enjoyed the complimentary pack. We hope to welcome you back next time you are in Perth. Best Wishes.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and although the room was quite dated and in need of a refurbishment, it was comfortable enough and we had a good stay. Views over the park were great and room service was quite nice. The only real issue was that on a cool Perth afternoon the heating for the room is not warm enough until after 5pm (at least that's what we were told was the issue as to why so little heat was coming out of the A/C unit even though we had the thermostat turned up full) it was obvious the A/C unit was, like much of the rest of the hotel, quite old.

Absolutely beautiful room! So clean, comfortable and at the same time homely! Beautiful bathroom,
The reception staff were absolutely wonderful as were the concierge staff. The 24 room service was wonderful as well, I had breakfast delivered each day and at night I had a beautiful tea which was absolutely delicious, could not be faulted in any way! The desert was to die for, it was so good I ordered a second one, thought about a 3 rd one but then the weight just jumped on my damned hips!!!!! lol so I thought I had better not otherwise I would not fit into my clothes! I stayed here 10 days and nights and it was wonderful!! I could not fault the food in restaurant's or the staff at reception staff were just fantastic! The room I chose randomly was perfect! Very quiet, the bed was so comfortable I wanted to stay in it for days, the room was lovely and spacious, clean and inviting, Well worth the money! I have no dramas about staying here again and would definitely tell friends and family to consider staying here.

Room Tip: As I needed some help being in a wheelchair I requested a ground floor room they were in very popula...

We stayed here for four nights, Wednesday to Sunday. The reception staff were friendly as were the concierge staff. The breakfast presented had a good range and was the traditional hotel style buffet with the usual foods. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. It was obvious on Sunday local people come to the hotel for a later breakfast, as this was the busiest mornining and there were lots of walk ins. The location of the hotel is good for getting in and out of the city with ease and a moderate walk to the CBD. As with all of Perth if you want to move around you need a car.
The room was large and amenities of good quality.
We were not sure what was missing at the hotel, there was something missing in the 'atmosphere' as we didn't think this one was as good as other Crown Plaza hotels we have stayed at previously.

Room Tip: If you have a number of bags, check there is a lift to your floor as there is no lift to level 1.

I stayed at this hotel on business in June 2014. The hotel is in a great location and is right next to the river. I usually stay at the Hilton Parmelia but opted for this hotel when my other work colleagues were staying here. The food is better here, compared to the Hilton but the Hilton is much nicer. This hotel has a lot of potential to be really good but it needs a big refurbish. The carpets and décor are old and tired. My room had a smell of if someone had smoked in it a long time ago but the smell just wouldn't go away.

I don't think I would chose to stay at this hotel again as there seems to be much nicer ones close by.

This was our second visit to Crowne Plaza Perth. We so enjoyed our first visit two years ago that we decided to book here again for a one night stop-over in Perth before leaving Australia. We were certainly not disappointed on our return – the staff at reception were extremely efficient, as were the staff at the restaurant and bar, more particularly Irwin in the bar, who remembered our drinks order from one day to the next. The rooms are exceptional – apart from the beautiful view over the Swan River, they are the only hotel on the river to have balconies off their front facing rooms, which makes for a wonderful sundowner in the fresh air. Whilst the bathrooms are not of modern design, they are clean, and have all the amenities of a 5-star establishment. The beds and linen are super comfy and are the best we have ever slept in – you sink into the softness of the bed and duvet, and the pillows are the best in the world! The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to many fantastic restaurants and the CAT bus stop which takes you straight into the city. This is a good value for money hotel with all the comforts one needs – We would not hesitate to recommend the Crowne Plaza and will definitely return.

Room Tip: River facing rooms for the balcony and the view. Request a room above the first floor for beautiful...

A nice hotel well situated near the Swan River. Perhaps not the same standards as European Crowne Plazas but by no means disappointing. Appears to be mostly business clients but an ideal location for a stop over in Perth. Reasonably priced in comparison to other WA hotels and a short taxi ride from the airport. Handy for the city centre which is within easy walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. As long as you do not have overinflated 5 star expectations you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Lower floors do not have much od an outlook.
