Booked this hotel as we were attending my cousins wedding reception at the same venue. Was adequete. Rooms were ok, I expected more from a 5* and the price we paid ( albeit the fact that Perth is super expensive), I would stay here again, but really out of necessity as opposed to anything else.

I am still currently staying here and love every minute of it.. the staff are so helpful anything you need they are more than happy to help. Rooms are always clean and the maid service is unbelievable.. the best hotel i have ever stayed in, well worth the money to stay here.

If you get a river view room you won't be disappointed.

Shame i have to go home soon.

Good place to stay, they just finished the rooms renovation and it's facilities. Good foods of breakfast, love the room and the gym. Cozy lobby bar in the middle of lobby. Only had problem with the Internet connection. Overall was good.

Stayed at regency club level in a newly renovated room with a river view
Quite frankly this is not been renovated to a hyatt finish
Who ever was in charge did not have any design skill at all
Truly had a feel of travelodge motel in the 80s
However the room was clean and modest
Also quite annoying booking king size bed which is 2 single beds joined togethet
The management can put whatever spin they want on this but its not what your customer expects as a hyatt standard
The club lounge is a major disapointment
Havinf stayed at many hyatts around the world this lounge is a waste of time
Its an unpleasant and uncomfortable lounge that looks like an after thought in the middle og the hall way
The food and drinks on offer is a joke
Also must make mention bed linen is a surprise
It might be an idea to upgrade as the quality also is poor

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend for our 1 year anniversary. We got a family rate which made the stay great value for money.

I would rate it between 4 and 4.5 stars. Good location, but a litte further out of the central part of the city than I would prefer - the Pan Pacific or Duxton are closer in, but still walkable.

Breakfast buffet was great, and dinner buffet was also very good - breakfast could have had a little more variety - eg pancakes could be added to breakfast. Only complaint was when it was raining the roof at the very top of the hotel had a small leak above where my husband was sitting just at the entry of the restaurant.

On mentioning that it was our anniversary when booking, we received a bottle of champagne and some chocolates in our room on arrival - a great little treat that doesn't go un-noticed.

Very nice hotel, nice views of river from river view room, a little further out of city than I would prefer but still walkable. I would probably stay in Fremantle next time, or the Duxton to be that little bit closer in. If the proximity to the centre of the CBD isn't an issue, then would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is very average if you want a quiet room with temperature control. Never accept a room facing the main road, the buses resonate the windows! They are not sound proofed. Also, don't take an east facing room (facing the road generally). They get very hot in the morning and the air-conditioning can't cope. You will be in a sauna by 8am, so don't plan on having breakfast in your room. (Half this hotel is really motel standard - not Hyatt standard.)

Room Tip: Never accept a room facing the road - too noisy.

Dear Max M

We are certainly sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at Hyatt Regency Perth and we thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. With regards to the air conditioning, as of last week all four air handling units within the hotel have been changed over; this has improved air flow in the public areas of the hotel and also in the guest rooms with more constant flow of air and better air quality. Likewise it was also disappointing to note that you felt the room you stayed in was noisy and as such engineering has been advised of this.

We hope you might consider staying with us again so we can offer you an improved and more enjoyable time.

Kind regards
General Manager

I was very disappointed with this experience, the room was very tired looking and boring. The whole floor we were on was very sterile and colourless. It was a 2 night reunion stay with my husband who had been away and I requested that the bed not be twin beds pushed together - which it was. Breakfast options very limited, we ended up eating at Infinity Cafe next door which was very good. I would not stay or recommend this hotel to friends or family.

Dear hedlander6722

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback and we are certainly sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at Hyatt Regency Perth last September. With regards to the bedding, due to increasing demand for twin bedded accommodation, we have a certain number of our rooms with twinlock beds, which can be separated to provide single beds or joined to make a king as required. However, on this occasion and given your specific request, clearly not to have been given a standard king bed was far from ideal. Likewise it was also disappointing to note that you felt that Cafe's breakfast choice was limited and our Executive Chef has been advised of this.

Your comments regarding the presentation of the hotel are well made and we would therefore like to take this opportunity to let you know that we have just completed the final stages of the most extensive interior redesign project in the hotel's history, a project which has been 16 months in the making. The complete interior redesign concept is contemporary, yet timeless and understated with calm colours and textural contrasts in materials providing a comfortable, residential feel.

Thank you once again for your comments which are appreciated and we hope you might consider staying with us again so you can sample the new guestrooms at first hand.

Kind regards
General Manager
