“A Perth icon”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

This wonderful park has so many different faces and changes throughout the day and the year. It is spectacular throughout the wildflower season; tranquil early morning; vibrant around the various playgrounds, cafes and concert and picnic areas; relaxing on the lawns under the shade of cool trees; balmy on summer evenings; respectful and peaceful in reflective areas and a simply marvellous place to wander around and take in the views across the city and river.

“Kings Park - something for everyone all year round”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Kings Park is a must do destination when you visit Perth. It has something for everyone and is loved by tourists and locals. The September wild flower festival is stunning. We've enjoyed many long walks and picnics in the park and treats at the cafes.

“Perth... Quiet but beautiful”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

It is easy to stay a whole day in King's Park. Bring a picnic or eat at the eatery or the more upmarket Frasers restaurant. Fabulous views across the water to the city. Fabulous walks and a fun children's playground. Zamia's cafe also a good place to eat. The gift shop, Apects, has unique west Australian souvenirs

“Picnics with a view”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Kings Park and Botanic Gardens are an amazing place to visit in Perth's bustling city precinct, just past Parliament House you'll find the wide open space of Kings Park. Take a picnic and enjoy the view back on to the City and Swan River. During summer there are art installations, outdoor movie screenings and beautiful sunsets.
