We love this hotel! The staff are warm, helpful and efficient! They don't charge for extra things like a jug of fresh milk and the newspaper etc. They recognise people who are regular guests and we have often received a complementary upgrade! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Perth!

Was planning a family holiday to Perth. My friends recommended farm stays so that my child can experience some interactions with farm animals.

As I did not realise that winter school holidays in Perth starts from 5 July, all the farm stays are mostly taken up.

Hence I have to decide between hotels or apartments.

As luck would have has it, ACCORD organisation is having a winter promotion for some of their hotels in Perth. I booked Mercure because mainly of its central location in west Perth and secondly its price.

It cost me AUS 42 dollars on a taxi from the airport to the hotel. The room was decent and big as there are 4 of us. Nothing to complain about for the price that I paid, though I wished to highlight the bathroom was a bit old though.

You can see the sink and bath tub were rusty.

The main advantage of this hotel is really the location. 5 mins walk to the city centre and supermarkets(ICG or Woolsworth). Restaurants are plentiful near the hotel.

Hotel charged AUS35 dollars for parking which I felt was a bit high.

Overall I would recommend this hotel to vistors to Perth as it is really convenient to travel around from the hotel.

Dear Singaporetourist78,

Thank you for your review.

Even though we were not your first choice for accommodation in Western Australia, we are very pleased you stayed with us. I am pleased you found the hotel bedroom adequate for the size of your family and that our location was central to all your needs.

Thank you for the recommendation!

Kind Regards,

Matt Young,
General Manager, Mercure Perth

The hotel is well within walking distance of perths downtown attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean albeit in need of a little touch up. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are in the range of similar places in downtown Perth. Did not sample the breakfast since there are many cafés in the vicinity.
