Great place to relax and explore the city. We had a very comfortable room, good size, clean and with bathroom. The city center is very close and everything can be explored by foot. The breakfast is wonderful, anything you can think of and very tasty.

Our brief stay at Miss Maud was fantastic. The interesting lift we anticipated was well something different. The only thing was the stairs, loads and loads of it but that only makes this place more charming. Loved my stay there. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great near many shopping malls and eateries.Thumbs up!

Stayed in room 141 which had 2 single beds and windows opened onto fire escape so no views but room was really quiet so had really good nights sleep. Rooms were clean and well appointed and a good size. Beds were really comfortable and linens were crisp. The breakfast was excellent and lots of choice and friendly staff. Also had evening meal off the a la carte menu and again that was tasty. Position of hotel is good with easy access to shops and public transport. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again if in Perth.

We were pleasantly surprised with the nice room and service. Breakfast at the restaurant was great. Very well located. Only problem was the noise on Saturday and Sunday mornings from the nightclub patrons across the road. Overall a great stay and can be recommended. We've enjoyed it.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony.

On our first night we had a twin room. Twin room is very small and the bathroom is ridiculously tiny with not even enough room to towel dry without cracking an elbow on a sharp corner. That said, the bathroom is clean and with good hot water and shower. Amenities are basic soap and shampoo only. The room and the hotel in general are old and tired but comfortable. Pricey though but that seems to be a Perth disease rather than a specific Miss Maud problem.
Two days later and a different room, double, bigger, workable bathroom, more comfortable although very creaky floor, noisy neighbours.
The free wifi has good signal strength and speed but best of all is the included breakfast buffet in the restaurant around the corner. A good spread of breakfast fare with almost something for everyone. Sadly the bacon was bland and rubbery but the crêpes were great and the yoghurt delicious, coffee OK but orange juice watery.
The hotel staff were sometimes friendly, sometimes stern and stand-offish and not at all accommodating for a couple of hours extension to the check-out time for a later flight.
An adequate hotel, not spacious but eventually comfortable. Expensive for what it is but convenient for the centre of town.

This is a boutique hotel right in the centre of Perth and makes a pleasant change from the big hotel chains. The building is of the older type, however everything is well maintained and very clean, I would guess however that the rooms are of various sizes and shapes. My room was a little small, but still comfortable, very quiet and very clean.
As well as the hotel they also have a restaurant and a pastry shop and as such the breakfast buffet is excellent, a full range of hot and cold items all very fresh as well a crepe chef and fresh pastries, I would stay here just for the breakfast.
I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly helpful staff, comfortable room with free wi-fi which is hard to find in hotels, iPod charging dock, good shower and all very clean. Lots of stairs which could be a downside if you find them a problem, but we don't. Easy walking distance of the main CBD. Huge amounts of good food available at the breakfast buffet, we did not need lunch! We would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a double bed
