I stayed in a single room, so fair enough it was small. But for the $160 that was paid, the box of a room was not worth it. I had the tiniest "window" which was situated high up on the wall and looked out to concrete walls and pipes, and it felt VERY clautraphobic and stuffy, almost cell like. Not having an iron in the room was incovenient as my room was on the 1st floor and the laundry room was on the 2nd. I had to turn off the bar fridge as it was very noisy and the shower came through as a warmish dribble, not a good start to the day. However the breakfast helped to make up for that as it is superb and caters for pretty much everyone. The staff were gourgeous, friendly and courteous.
The hotel has loads of character and makes a nice change from the cold, souless places you get around Perth. My room was spotless, and the bathrooms were lovely (except for the dodgy shower) The location is brilliant, walk to shops and some good places to eat nearby. Not sure I would recommend it though, as I think you can find better deals elsewhere, especially if you like to look outside from you room!More
