If you are over 19 and used to any sort of comforts this hotel is not for you. It is tired, grubby & pretty dirty overall.

The location is good but currently surrounded by construction and my advice would be to stay away, I went in at 3 am and still decided not to stay it really didn't feel safe and was very unappealing, spend a little more and try the Travelodge on Hay, lovely outside bar, clean rooms and friendly staff.

Room Tip: just don't go unless on serious cost saving trip.

We stayed here last month, and it was so handy! It is right in the middle of Perth and our room had a great view, which will be better when the construction of Elizabeth Quay is finished. The room was very comfortable and the bed great. The hotel is also close to the Busport and the free CAT buses in the centre. We really enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with the river view, above the tree tops.

We just wanted to spend the night somewhere in the city and assumed that because it is in the city close to the river it must be good. We chose a standard room as it looked just fine in the photos but very disappointing in reality, the bed was really uncomfortable, I could feel the metallic things that it has inside, the room is not very appealing either and the bathroom mmm it had a soap dispenser for the shower, I have never seen that before.

We were just so disappointed.... just for few bucks more we would have been able to stay somewhere else if we had known it was going to be like this.

I can understand it rating of 54 out of 57. We stayed here because it was a QQantas recommended hotel. We opted for deluxe city view room.
Nothing deluxe about it. Would hate to see the standard room. View was 3 tall buil;ding up high and a large car park. Room was depressing. Bed was only a double. all city hotels should now have queen size beds. The tv sat on what looked like an old students desk. The sofa was yuk.Run down tired looking. Heads up - stay elsewhere.

Room Tip: Go elsewhere
