Rooms have seemingly been refurbished fairly recently, so clean and tidy - fairly basic in terms of decor and furniture but more than adequate. Had breakfast and used the well stocked shop and very pleasantly surprised - superb buffet breakfast.

We stayed in this set up for 4 nights from 3 June 2014, this is hotel has no frills but suits us well for a family of three, which fits the in the sofa bed bed nicely.
It is just next to a couple of car rental companies, so made us returning and pick up of cars most convenient. Amidst 3.5 star, it is well kept and very clean, and I must say it is most affordable for Perth standard.

The hotel is just next to Langley Park, we had a wonderful time including morning jogs from the hotel to the South Perth Mend’s St. Jetty.

We stayed for one night (on a Sunday) as we couldn’t pick our campervan up until the following morning and found it to be just as we'd expected. OK, it’s not a five star hotel but it is clean, tidy and good value for money in an excellent location and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We had a studio apartment which consisted of a large bedroom, sitting room with kitchenette and a small (but adequate) bathroom. The kitchenette had all the basics so if you wanted or needed to cook a meal you could and the fridge was useful especially if you were going to be staying for a few days.

Because it was fairly late when we got to the room we decided to try the ‘Food 2 Go’ – which is basically a take away/room service menu at very reasonable prices. The food we had was tasty, well cooked and nicely presented and the portion size was more than enough. Unfortunately the breakfast buffet in the morning was a bit of a letdown with not much choice and it seemed expensive for what was available.

There is also a restaurant on the ground floor and several vending machines selling snacks and drinks.

Although we only spent a few hours here, if we ever go back to Perth then we would certainly consider staying here again.

I stayed here with my 4 children and couldn't fault the place. You are not going to get 5 star amenities but then for $125 and a family size room I wouldn't expect to. There is a little kitchen where you can cook meals for the family if you wish or you can order from the downstairs kitchen and pick it up which we did. Kids Meals were generous and they had no complaints. You can also order pizza from the Ambassador hotel across the road, however this didnt open until 6pm and with kids hungry I decided against this. Location is fantastic. We were attending an event in the hay street mall, and arrived there after walking for only 15 minutes. Front office staff were friendly. Car parking was limited and if you don't get a spot you have to pay for parking at the hotel across the road. We parked mid afternoon and then walked everywhere so we didnt lose our spot.

A great hotel for families who don't want to pay an arm and a leg but still be close to the city.

I've stayed at Goodearth Hotel on several occasions; primarily because Perth is so massively overpriced for hotels and this is the most reasonably priced for a city based location, that includes parking that is complimentary. Understanding that the rating of this hotel is not five star, it is fine for what it is: clean room, amenities work, pleasant and helpful hotel staff. The biggest issue I've had is the calibre of hotel guest isn't necessarily that great, so noise from the next room can make or break the stay. I've previously asked to change rooms which was agreed to quickly and done so without fuss. The bathrooms are tiny but are fine for short stays - if you're looking for a longer time frame of more than a few days the frustration of moving around the bathroom space just to close the door might get to you. Parking is secure but limited. The restaurant downstairs are responsive and orders are quick to turn around; again staff are pleasant and easy to deal with. Food type and quality isn't gastromonic, but its fine for what it is ... nothing memorable but certainly nothing to complain about.

Room Tip: Rooms located at the back of the hotel are a lot quieter from Adelaide Terrace traffic; room numbers from around "x30" onward from memory.
