We stayed here for 2 nights on our way home from South Africa to New Zealand. Staff were friendly and helpful. After check in found one of the lifts not working properly. The room booked was a double superior studio apartment but didn't look as nice as they did on their website. Noise could be heard through the wall from other rooms and from the hallway. We had to have the heating on all the time to keep the room warm and there was no electric blanket on the bed. The bathroom had a good shower but was a bit pokey and the forceful fan which cleared the steam also seemed to draw all the heat from the room area as there was quite a gap under the bathroom door. Was good to be able to have your own meals in the room with a microwave and cooktop there though - which we did.
Could catch a free bus from the end of the street which was handy. We used it to go to the Mall which was also within walking distance - about 20mins. Also within walking distance is the Perth Mint and the Royal Hospital.

Goodearth is a very good hotel, quite friendly, affordable yet in the heart of Perth. We stayed here on quite a few occasions and don't want to go anywhere else. Great for couples and/or families - we have done both. They have standard rooms, min0-suites, twin beds and apartments. Their two-bedroom apartments are excellent value and they will add a roll-in bed for number 3 - at no extra cost. Their standard bedrooms (double; no kitchenette) are the equivalent of more expensive hotels in Perth. Great value for money.

Room Tip: Ring the hotel, tell them your requirements. If you don't want a kitchenette, say so.

Location is strategic. Everything is in walking distance. There is a 24 hours shop just 5 minutes walk down the road. Good selections of breakfast for a Muslim. The room is like a studio apartment. Quite spacious with a kitchenette. Can accomodate up to 4 people when you take a 2 person room as they have a sofabed inside the room too. Just a minor downfall; no bidet in the toilet. Malaysian would totally undertands. Staff is friendly. Definitely would recommends it if you are looking for a quite affordable hotel in Perth.

I like the buffet breakfast best! Good spread of dishes; eggs, fruits, bread. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable but run down look. Not modern looking. Corridor can be noisy. You can hear noise from the rooms. WIFI works fine, just get password from reception. Opposite the hotel is a beautiful park. You can jog, cycle there. Pleasant view! Ok overall if you are not fussy with basic features of an accomodation.

This is a noisy hotel. I was on the seventh floor and could hear the elevator motors all night every night. Any conversation in the hallway is also heard in your room, let alone any vigorous nocturnal activity by people in adjacent rooms!! On the plus side the rooms are clean and well fitted out with kitchenettes (fridge, hot plate, microwave) and the bathrooms, though small, are well appointed. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the bar/restaurant/cafe has decent selections at reasonable prices. All in all ok if you are on a budget.

Rooms have seemingly been refurbished fairly recently, so clean and tidy - fairly basic in terms of decor and furniture but more than adequate. Had breakfast and used the well stocked shop and very pleasantly surprised - superb buffet breakfast.

We stayed in this set up for 4 nights from 3 June 2014, this is hotel has no frills but suits us well for a family of three, which fits the in the sofa bed bed nicely.
It is just next to a couple of car rental companies, so made us returning and pick up of cars most convenient. Amidst 3.5 star, it is well kept and very clean, and I must say it is most affordable for Perth standard.

The hotel is just next to Langley Park, we had a wonderful time including morning jogs from the hotel to the South Perth Mend’s St. Jetty.
