A reasonably cheap basic accomadation in Perth with basic rooms that are comfortable and clean. Balconies and a views mostly. It is what it is. Do not expect 5 star at this price. Parking provided which is important. Unpretentious and a place to put your head without getting bedbugs. Resturant and other entertainment close but not central, Better than some. I would recommend.

We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment facing the swan river - it was a big and nice accomodation for a family of 3. Accomodation is good value considering the location and the apartment and bathroom are clean, though the stained kitchen cups and dirty looking utensils look doubtful for use. The overall ventilation is not good though. The 3 older air conditioner do not work while we had difficulty using the remote for the sole newer one in the living room. Able to smell food when walking towards the lift at the corridor.

Stayed for one night and never again. Was complimentry upgraded to Executive but thought the pictures of the "Newly Refurbished Executive Appartments" looked nice. Would have been good if that was actually what the room looked like. Outdated 80's Decor not to mention the "spacious sefl contained Kitchen" give me a break nothing in the room was what was explained on the website. Stains everywhere and suspicious holes in pillows leave nothing for my imagination. I cabnt understand how this Hotel got aany recognition with awards etc. Are they real awards. Dating back to 2003 obviously the standards have changed since then.

stayed for 4D3N, chosen for location and value, arranged by travel agent , hotel easily accessible and comfortable walking (winter time but cozy weather) distance to CBD and places of interest nearby, room was nice with view of river equip with kitchen, fridge and utensil though we never used, as with restaurant at ground floor, staff was helpful, not overly friendly, luggage storage available near reception but we have to store it ourselves, not much help there, miss our airport shuttle pick-up, hotel staff help called taxi, also just across the street there is a small convenient store open till night time when we was there, all in had wonderful time in Perth

The Hotel was in a good area for acesing the CBD and some tourist activities. If you were lucky, you might get a river view. The rooms were a good size with a double bedroom and a large lounge/diner with two single beds. The price was so so over inflated. The decor was from the 1060's - not such a big deal, but the smell of the oversprayed room freshener which mixed with all kinds of disgusting pongs and the highly visible stains all over the carpets and furniture made you feel really uncomfortable. , how many years of filth had accumulated and was trying to be masked. We didn't complain to the manager- what could he/she really do? The Wardrobes stunk so much we didn't put our clothes in. The bathroom, was 'cleaned', but again the age and inground dirt made you not want to touch any surface. It was all made worse by the fact that it was raining whilst we were there. Maybe if we were just crashing there, we could get over the crapness and just sleep there.
I would not go there again, or reccommend it except to someone I hated..

We arrived too early to check in but the staff allowed us access to the free carpark and luggage room on arrival. Got upgraded to one of the refurbished rooms which was basic but pleasant with a small balcony with city and river views. No microwave though - which we were expecting.

Our stay was perfectly pleasant until the last night when the rooms next to and opposite ours were occupied by two groups of extremely noisy, boisterous, drunken young people who blasted music, shouted, ran up and down the corridors, banged and generally made noise from 8.30pm to around 4am the next morning. Repeated calls to reception resulted in them being politely asked to keep the noise down which did nothing. This caused a great deal of distress for us at not being able to sleep all night. Particularly as I had to turn the fridge off the nights prior for being too noisy. So that was a shame that a nice stay was marred by such unacceptable behaviour.

A few blocks away from Perth Mint. Located besides Novotel, Sheraton and opposite Perth Ambassador. Though a distance away from the tourist sites, it is serviced by TransPerth, a free public bus that will give you access to various important points in the city. Night bus service by TransPerth is not frequent so be prepared to walk upon return. The room I had was spacious. The bed are decent enough. There were kitchen facilities available. It is located on a quiet side of town so it is peaceful enough to sleep soundly during the night. A few restaurants and a convenience store located within walking distance from the hotel so breakfast/dinner can be easily settled. Hotel does not provide body shampoo gel, hair shampoo, toothbrush & toothpaste so be prepared to bring your own. Soap, hair conditioner and a shower cap are provided. Front desk is friendly and willing to help with queries. We were surprised when the rates that we paid was slightly different (higher) than what we booked through the internet on the first night of stay but we did not dispute. We just assumed that it might be a common thing.
