First time here after hearing good things. Well located at the far eastern end of James Street near the Art Gallery of WA and the Museum. The decor and service style is more basic cafe than any pretence to being a fine restaurant, so if you're after somewhere romantic, you'd be better off looking elsewhere.
BOUQUETS: Imaginative, tasty and very well presented food with lots of vegetarian options as well.
BRICKBATS: Only the $6 surcharge on a $200 bill for using a card! That's a hefty 3%. This is becoming an issue with a number of establishments in Perth and I have to say - a very unwelcome one.
TIPS: Take cash! If you have been to the Art gallery, a ticket should get you a 10% discount off the entire bill. (Sort of makes up for the exhorbitant credit card charge!)
