There are two sections to the restaurant - downstairs is the better area for more intimate dining, as it gets quite noisy upstairs with the bar and all the hard surfaces.
The menu is not large, but covers all food groups and even mixes them up with a refined surf n turf - which was very good, as was the rib eye steak. However the duck confit on lentils was totally overpowered by the chorizo and a few other spices. Meals are pretty much stand alone, so sides are required which adds to the bill.
Solid wine list.
Not the level of consistency you would expect from a restaurant pitched at this price level.
But it is still very popular, so bookings essential.
