Right in the centre of Perth to relax and enjoy. Fine kept garden displays touching on plenty of history. Extremely popular to locals and visitors alike.

We sat here for a break in the sunshine and watched the tourists admiring the statues of the kangaroos drinking from the water on St Georges Terrace.

If you're in the city with young children and you need a break but the kids can't keep still, bring them here as there is so much space to run around!

If you'd like to take some time off the busy Perth pace , but still stay down-town. Get a picnic lunch and stop by any weekday. You'll be joined my many of Perth's office workers that know this is the place to be on a MON-FRI lunch date.

We used this garden on many a day when walking to the Barracks Street jetty to catch the ferry to South Perth. It is very well maintained like all public facilities in Perth, with beautiful shrubs and trees. What is so beautiful is you walk through this oasis and look up at the skyscrapers of the city next door. These gardens are used by many to do their exercises, read books, have lunch or generally enjoy nature. A nice break to relax in whilst in the city.

Thank ClaireMVH
