We were also very happy at the Outram. The facilities were very good and comfortable. Great location and easy access to Perth City. Price compared very well to other hotels close to the city. Found the Manager to be very helpful and friendly, the staff made out stay very relaxing and trouble free. Would certainly return!

Room Tip: Always go with the Manager's recommendation

Generally the hotel is good for what you pay compared to other hotels in Perth (very expensive city). Weird shower layout behind the tv?? Very strange. Nice huge spa bath. But zero facilities so don't expect to have a hotel holiday so to speak. Staff were friendly but the manager is over the top and so condescending in the way she spoke to us and other guests. Was more fitting in a kindy! We felt like we were being spoken to like liittle excitable kids and when we commented to other guests in the elevator they said the same. Other staff were great, good for a chat and friendly "normal" service.

Keys annoyingly didn't work so had to get them re-cut a couple times. Luckily someone is there all day and night so you can get in to the lobby if you go out (the door locks at night).

No parking so book in advance they have only a few spaces!!

The review before mine says they only do instant coffee but this is incorrect, they do use the coffee machine and sell espresso coffees for purchase, the instant coffee is just part of the continental breakfast. You can order espresso coffee too.

I probably won't stay here again just because of the lack of facilities, nowhere to park, etc. But it's ok if you need something reasonably priced in the city.

We stayed here recently for a 5 night and a two night stay, we chose the hotel because of our Wyndham credits. On doing my research i found that Perth hotels are quite expensive so we were very pleased we could use our credits.
Good location and close to Kings Park and the free bus stops outside, make sure you check the timetables for these as we got caught out a couple of times.
The area the hotel is situated is a business district so weekends are very quiet and most restaurants in the area are shut... So u need a car or take a cab for dinners on those nights.
Staff were mostly very nice, friendly and helpful. We booked a carpark for $10.00 per day for the first stay and found it worthwhile. On the weekends you can park on the streets outside and it is fee for most of the weekend from sat noon i think. Second stay we didnt reserve a park and had to park on the road.
Rooms are pleasant and spacious. We had a deluxe studio with huge spa bath. Only thing we missed was a DVD player as we have become used to these as we stay regularly In Wyndham properties..
Wifi was only available in the lobby...cables in therooms Which i find a bit out of date with most people using tablets and smartphones .
There is a cafe downstairs which we used once for breakfast.... BUT they only serve instant coffee, and yet there is a coffee machine in the kitchen! Surely it would be a good idea to train some one up to make good coffee, we would have been happy to pay extra for this.
There is a great cafe next door the Outram Cafe whichserve fabulouos breakfasts so we went there the other days .
On the whole very nice.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 203 and 208 both had a small balcony and reasonable outlook

We were very happy at the Outram. Wonderful location with free city bus at the door. We were in a studio and yes the bathroom configuration was unusual but didn't worry us a bit. Huge spa - had to try it out one night despite the huge amount of water needed to fill it. Staff all lovely with us. A toaster in the room would have been nice.

We would happily return here and recommend the place. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The studio arrangement is a little odd with open plan shower and spa. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and the red cat just outside the door gave the access to the city. I found dining choices after 5 very limited unless you want to spend big money and then there were a couple of options.Wifi available in the lobby so you meet other travelers as well.

Watched this hotel being built and opened as exclusive luxury hotel, so pleasantly surprised to find it at $200 as a last minute deal, now it is owned by Wyndham. Stylish rooms still feel new, though bathroom is part of bedroom, which is a personal dislike. In quiet West Perth, with free CAT bus outside, there is also free overnight parking on the street, which is a saving of $50 over city centre. Café did not look inviting, but next door Outram Café is good, and plenty of nearby dining options.

We were doing an overnight in Perth before flying out for a trip so we we arrived late at night and flew out the next morning. I located this hotel online and it didn't really live up to expectations, even overnight ones. While it is a 'boutique' hotel, it doesn't offer the style that you might expect. The check in was very unfriendly to say the least, the checkout was super friendly, the young English bloke behind the counter was very polite and helpful. The room is quite decent and clean although the shower in the room was just weird. As was the spa...open plan all round. At 199 is was fair value, although in hindsight I would have saved the $70 return fare in the cab to the airport, and stayed in something cheaper and more downmarket but close to the airport...probably good for city overnighters, and couples on a budget.
