This hotel has become our usual spot to stay when visiting Auckland. It is in a brilliant location right in the city. The rooms are apartments with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room to spread out your gear! Also has washing/drying equipment. The parking on the street is fairly limited depending on your time of arrival, there is an underground carpark (for about $25?) with lift straight into the hotel which is very convenient. Driving here from the airport is fairly easy as you just need to follow the signs to the city centre. We have discovered lots of great restaurants just nearby.

These apartments do what they say on the tin. A decent location on the edge of the CBD, 10-15 minutes walk from the centre. The free wifi was extremely fast.

Only downsides were our studio room was tiny so we were always falling over our bags, the advertised DVD player wasn't there and the parking was very expensive - we stayed over a weekend so took advantage of the weekend rate at the town hall 5 minutes walk away. Almost forgot - the included breakfast of stale cake was a total waste of time, really not sure why they bothered!

Overall, for the price we paid and the location I was very happy and would definitely stay again.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for your good review about our central location and free Wi-Fi facility. There are a couple of issues raised in your feedback that will help us improve as a property. I have passed on your recommendations and feedback to the relevant department heads to address. I can also assure you that our car parking charges are among the lowest you could find in the central city. We hope to see you back in the near future, thank you for your support.

Take care and safe travels back to Edinburgh, UK.

Kind regards

We have stayed her a few times. The apartment is fully serviced and has cooking and washing appliances. Light and airy and very quiet but only a short walk to Queen St and the restaurants and shopping. We flew in late at night and they have 24hr reception which is convenient. Parking is extra cost but there are some free spots in the street at the front.

the hotel is pretty much good, the location at queen street, and 5-10m walking to the harbor.

the hotel is exactly what they say kind of private apartments, people live there too, no problem with that
the staff not so helpful and nice but ok,

Having stayed here previously this one night stay was what we were looking for. 3 bedroom ground floor unit for 1 couple and 3 adult 'boys'. Ample space however the proximity to the street meant windows closed and morning noise was quite loud. Air con or fans would help as rooms got very warm. Parking is provided underground of the hotel for appx $25 for 24 hours which we didn/t relise until after. We parked in open carpark right next door which proved slighty more expensive and the need to top up the parking ticket displayed on dash of vehicle.
The hotel is situated at the top end of Queen Street so it is a 15-20 minute walk to the bottom and the harbour, viaduct area which has some great tourist and food options. It's only a walk up to karangahapa road which has a number of restaurants.

Room Tip: It would seem ground floors are the large rooms. Try for a top room if a couple but the noise will t...

Tucked away on white Street not far from Queen St. Thought this would be a quiet location and unfortunately this was not the case. A backpacker hostel across the road and car doors and a lot of loud people.
Room was clean and tidy with separate bedroom. TV was the smallest I have ever viewed - look more like a PC monitor. Good Kitchen and laundry facilities.
Car parking was a bit steep at $25p.n.
Staff courteous and helpful.
Good value for money.

Room Tip: Skip the studio and book a 1 bedroom. For the little extra asked, it is well worth it. Ask for one n...

I enjoyed my stay here, the rooms are decent and the location is central, and would stay again without hesitation as long as the hotel hits the price point. They are listed as a 4 1/2 star which if so, is almost laughable. The cons, the room walls are thin a bit beat, wall chips in the paint simple cosmetic stuff like that but loose ends. In three nights, they came once to service the room which is fine with me. I didn't do breakfast the gym or ask for any help outside of holding my bag after I checked out. Plenty of pros, pretty clean, great wifi, central location. The beds were also firm, and the shower was awesome pressure, awesome shower.

The front staff was helpful but I saw plenty of issues people were having. Basically my take is if you are laid back and not needy and have spent many of nights in many different hotels and know the ins and outs you will enjoy your stay here. If you are looking for honeymoon treatment on a holiday you would be better suited at a upscale property because this place isn't going to over preform. Again, I enjoyed my stay and I will return if the price is firm.
