Staying with my sister in Auckland, we are from Australia and wanted to take all of the family out for dinner as a thank you for having us.
Yesterday morning we phoned to make a booking for dinner that evening, the phone was automated with an answer that explained that they were busy and we should leave a message and contact number, we did.
As no one had called us back by the afternoon we called again, same message!
We then checked their website, and found there was a table booking service incorporated within that site, so we then booked a table via that service on the website. the booking was then confirmed with us by email.
We arrived at Pastis via two taxi's as there were too many for one, this alone cost a great deal of money as my sister lives approx' 30kms from Pastis.
To our great disappointed the restaurant was closed without any explanation or a notice on the window, no one called us back, but we did have a confirmed booking from the restaurant via an email.
The rest of the evening was totally ruined for the whole family.
