A lovely place with a welcoming atmosphere - the parkland is stunning, and it is surprisingy little-known by most Aucklanders. The comparison with Osborne House in the UK is a little fanciful, but in its own terms it is a real treat. Foremost in any visit will be the superb café, which has quality written through all its choices. With a very helpful and attentive approach from its experienced members of staff. I hope that an official disabled parking space will be provided nearer to the wheelchair entrance soon.
