“It goes nowhere”
Reviewed 25 February 2013

It goes in a circle through industrial area and carparks. It needs to go to the city!! Seems pointless to go nowhere and see nothing.

“Value for money”
Reviewed 12 February 2013

for an oldie ex Auckland tram rider (Oh how we miss them) this was a wonderful way to spend killing time.
We had three hours to kill so went round and round and round. There were two VERY interesting drivers who gave a full commentary all the way. We got off at Wynyard Quarter and had a look around and took photos. - This too was a place that is interesting and will grow.
Then back on again to have another couple of tours around the block.

The driver said that the track was going to be extended, in the future - right along the waterfront to St Heliers Bay.
If people would only listen they wouldn't have to make adverse comments.

Given time this will be a major attraction in New Zealand particularly if they get some old Auckland trams back on track.

Well worth the $5.00, particularly considering the prices of other attractions in Auckland. (and where can you buy an ice cream for $5.00???)

A tip for the instigator of "Does this attraction have the following". Toilet facilities are usually available in most places, but BATHROOMS are only available in accommodation.

“A short trip for kids on old tram”
Reviewed 28 January 2013

Is not close to the viaduct so was a bit of a walk with kids. Didn't quite see the point as there were not really any places to get off once on tram which went around a block.

“Excellent Option for the Family”
Reviewed 17 November 2012

The very friendly driver made the ride even better. We had a $5 family ticket thanks to a voucher from the "No Passport Needed' site, which meant that the whole family (5 of us) could ride the tram as much as we wanted for a day - so fantastic value. The kids really enjoyed being on the tram and the playground at the waterfront where the tram stops was fantastic which a large paddling area and good play equipment. Got off and on and enjoyed walking along the waterfront, did two circuits in total and thoroughly recommend it as a good family activity especially on a fine day.
