Located underground halfway down an alley off Queen Street, I probably wouldn't have found this place if I had been looking, but this ramen was a happy find. I ordered the miso ramen with a chili pepper rating of 3 (out of 5). The broth was hot and tasty and surprisingly but perfectly spicy. Be warned that they are serious about their spice. They even dare you to try the ramen at a spicy rating of five. The most impressive part of the ramen were the noodles. They were ample and exactly the right density--not too tough and definitely not too soft. The pork and the accompanying vegetables were nice complements. I didn't care for the corn, but they seem to be common ramen fare and I think I'm losing that battle. The place is very basic. Definitely no frills, but for about $12 US for a big bowl of excellent ramen, that was just part of the appeal.
