We stayed at the Quay West Suites where we had a one bedroom suite that overlooked part of the Viaduct and part of the harbour.
The suite had everything you would need for a long stay, washing machine and dryer, separate lounge/kitchen and bedroom.
The location is perfect, just a short block back from Queen Street and Britomart and the Viaduct is only minutes walk away.

This hotel is like a home away from home. Very welcoming and friendly staff - Misha on the front desk is always helpful, nothing is too much to ask.
Spacious rooms and very comfortable.
I will be back.

Location is great, so close to the centre and harbour. Staff was friendly and room was clean and cosy. The view from our room was really nice. Definitely will come back to stay there again. Will recommend this place to my friends & family.

This a great hotel to stay at located close to Auckland center and port. Our room was on the 14th floor. Great views, the room was clean, well equipped and comfortable but is in need of a little refurbishment. We stayed from Wednesday to Saturday. A little noisy on Friday night. Internet is very expensive if used in the room. Free wi-fi available in the lobby.

Overall, this was a great place to stay. Its location is within walking distance of the cruise terminal. It is within walking distance of many attractions as well as restaurants, coffee houses etc. The view was exquisite. The suites are large and well equipped with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. We had two issues. 1. The wifi is free only in the lobby. The password is good for 30 minutes, then one must get a new password that is good for just 15 minutes. The lobby was kept very very cold, so that the whole experience was unpleasant. 2. The outlets in Australia and New Zealand are different from those in the US and Europe. When I asked for a plug adaptor, they did not have one and gave me a transformer instead. It works, but seemed like overkill.

Room Tip: We enjoyed staying on a high floor.
