Love to take my daughter here, they have great interactive items dotted around the whole park as well as a purpose built toddler interactive zone and educational zone with items suited to older kids (and adults) as well as the littlies. They have a wonderful parents room and I find the facilities are always well kept. This is a wonderful place to have as a Plan B when you go to the Zoo as most of the items are indoors and you can travel between the Zoo and MOTAT on the vintage tram kept and run by MOTAT

Over priced for what you get, but was an enjoyable visit. Would recommend if can get it at a discounted price

Had a few spare hours on a business trip to Auckland and went to MOTAT. Not enough time to do it justice. The displays are themed and very well presented in an interesting layout. Particularly enjoyed all the old cars and tractors. Used a taxi from the CBD to MOTAT but then caught the bus back which worked really well. Would recommend for anyone interested in the history of NZ transport and technology.

I remember going to MOTAT as a kid as part of a visit to the big smoke and being enthralled by the place. Several (OK,plenty) of years later I returned, and found it equally as interesting. Everywhere you look there are fascinating displays of machinery, vehicles and (best of all) tanks! My own 6 year old son was kept amused for hours, and I like to think he learned a few things as well. Keep up the good work MOTAT.

The Museum of Transport and Technology is a must for anyone wanting to learn about New Zealand's Transport and Technology History with some amazing creations.

Also, the MOTAT is a popular spot to visit for families as the younger and older ones can ride the train around the facility.

Thank you to Auckland City for this great facility.
