We'd not been to the Museum for some time but my 8 and 6yo absolutely loved our recent visit. Especially the Volcano activity, hands on workings of both WWs, Natural NZ History and the 3D activities in the kids area.

Visited the museum on Anzac day. It's a free entry for all.. A must visit place in Auckland. It is a beautiful walk through the domain on a sunny day. The museum has maori history, volcano simulation etc.. a good half day's visit.

A great museum, catering to a wide variety of interests. We had children aged 13, 10 & 5, all enjoyed it and often ask to go back.
