Room: we stayed in double room. Bed, table with chair and wardrobe. You also get your own towel. Small but nice.

Kitchen: big, a lot of space, very nice and stocked with dishes.

Bathroom: I really liked 'mini-bathroom' area where you have shower and toilet behind the same doors

TV room on 3rd floor and sundeck were nice but there could be even more space where you cold dry your wet clothes

There is also laundry facility with washer and dryer, plus iron.

You must pay for wi-fi.

I really liked eco signs that keep reminding you to take care of our planet.

Room Tip: Having a room on the side where sundeck is can sux a bit (people smoking and of course, air goes up...

We stayed in a simple, clean twin-room. Bathroom and shower was shared which was ok.
The kitchen was one of the nicest ones we have ever seen in a hostel. It was very big and had a lot of saucepans, frying pans etc. The dining-area was also nice there was an updated board with activities.
The veranda has a great view.

Best hostel I have stayed at in Auckland. I would recommend it to anyone who wants good but cheap accommodation. At the top end of Queen street but still in walking distance to many places. Easy walk to Vector Arena

The hostel is ok, pretty good central location.
The room itself wasn't the best, wasnt very clean and did smell a bit, i think this was mostly down to one guy who reeked of garlic (you could smell him coming up the hallway)
It was a bit warm in the room aswell due to no aircon or fan.

This hostel is cheaper than YHA international. The staff was pretty nice and helpful, the kitchen is big, the wifi is good (and free if you are a YHA member). The location is very convenient to discover the city, you can walk easily to the town center.
The room was okay, but the windows are very thin. All the humidity come inside and everything is wet in the morning.
It's also pretty cold in winter but you can ask for extra blanket.

Room Tip: Ask for the 2 beds dorm room at the top floor, the view is great.

We were here for New Year's Eve, and it was only a short walk down the central street to see the fireworks from Sky Tower. Very close to everything.

Huge, well-equipped kitchen and big common area with tables and chairs to eat at, 24 hour reception and free Wifi for YHA members.

We stayed in a double room which was very comfortable with plenty of space for our bags as well as a nice view of the city skyline. The hostel is on top of a very steep hill but definitely worth it - great value

I stay there for one week. Great location, in the city minutes walk to city centre.

The stuff were great. Explained everything I should know about Auckland. Recommended a week tour around Auckland.

I enjoyed stay there.

Highly recommended.
