We stayed here with some friends for a concert. The staff was great with an awesome duty manager Mira. The room is basic but great if you just need someone to sleep. Would happily stay there again next time we are in the city. Good cheap rates too

Stayed at this hotel overnight after a 14 night New Zealand cruise. All I can say is thank god I only stayed one night and wasn't in the room very much. The room it self was about the size of my closet back at home with no air conditioning. They do provide a small fan so at night it's not terrible. Sorry but I can not recommend staying here. Staff was very helpful and friendly however

This hotel is in a good location--near shopping and key sites. It is very much a budget hotel so you cannot have terribly high expectations when staying here. The rooms are small and the windows are so thin that you can head people's conversations outside, several storeys below. It is not quiet by any means. But the staff are available 24 hours and are pkeasantvand helpful and the rooms have the basics you need. Parking costs a fair bit extra but there is also a public lot around the corner as an alternative. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

We stayed here twice coming in and out of New Zealand, staying here a total of 5 nights. The location was amazing, right in the center of Auckland, in very comfortable walking distance of more restaurants than I could count (at least dozens, probably more than a hundred), Albert Park, Auckland Art Gallery, Sky City Tower (and its bus terminal), Britomart Transport Centre and the Auckland Ferry Terminal. Even if you're super-lazy, the restaurants immediately across the street (Homeworld BBQ and Top Pie Cafe) are very tasty.

The staff was amazing, letting us check in early, store luggage for most of a day after we checked out, and recognizing us with a smile pretty much every time we came and went.

The rooms weren't fancy, but were clean and comfortable. What more can you ask for in a place to rest your head after coming back from walking the city?

We stayed here for one night on arrival in New Zealand. If I hadn't been so tired I may have been more disappointed with this choice of hotel. The room had a double bed but space for little else. It's the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. I'd compare it to a caravan bedroom.

The big negative was no air conditioning. The fan provided in the room was a life saver. The shower head was fixed at about 5ft 2in! So if your like me and taller than that get ready to squat in the shower!

On the plus side the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and the lobby was nice.

If you just need a place to sleep, good breakfast and don't care about air conditioning then this hotel is great value.

Dear Valued Guest

Thank you for your recent stay with us. I must however apologize that you did not have a great experience at the hotel. The room you choose to stay in is one of our cheapest rooms, but we do have rooms that are larger with air conditioning and we can upgrade at a small cost. Again we thank you for your feedback and hope to welcome you back in the near future.
