As a function centre it's wonderful to have, and all is good with that side of things, but sometimes, it seems a bit tacky looking, the square itself, unbecoming to "the Queen City". I didn't visit when the ice rink was there, which may have taken it upmarket a bit.

This place could be the centre of the city but after lots of money spent on the site it is just a boring "nothing" place. Cheap markets do nothing to lift Aucklands image - a great opportunity lost!

Not too much happening here. Just a nice place to hang out. It s bit more exciting since the ice skating rink came along

This centre used to be very nice when it was first established. It is right next door to the Auckland Town Hill. Over the years low life intend to put up their tents there to view their rights.

The perfect opportunity to create a post theatre supper environment instead of all the attendees standing outside watching the tables and chairs being stacked away at 11pm on a Saturday night....crazy
