“Great views & more besides”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

A lower view of Auckland...but still great 360 degrees of great viewing. Yes there is a huge memorial & yes its linked to Maori history too..but also to a man called Sir John Logan Campbell, who gifted Cornwall Park to the people of NZ in 1901. I would recommend you look at his life, very interesting if you like history. i loved the winding road to the top & beautiful trees around you...on the way down we stopped of at ACACIA Cottage, where Campbell lived..the whole park & summit is worth a visit folks...there is a cafe but take a picnic!!!

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

Wonderful place. Walk through Cornwell Park too. Take the little dirt tracks for a more athletic but more interesting climb to the top. The sheep will be surprised to see you! Highly recommend this volcanic cone.

“Must-do when in Auckland”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

A visit to One Tree Hill is a great way to see the entire city of Auckland from a fantastic vantage point. Whether you do it at the beginning of a trip to Auckland to orient yourself or at the end to look around and pick out the places you have been, a visit to One Tree Hill is a must. The views are great, but so is the drive up there (or the hike, depending on your interest) and it's easy to combine with a visit to Cornwall Park, either for a stroll or a picnic. I took my parents on their last day in Auckland and they loved it - felt like I had saved the best for last. It doesn't require much time either - a quick stop off is enough if you're short on time.

“Pristine Park”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

This is a beautiful park with lovely well maintained grounds. It has historical Maori sites and a memorial at the top with 360 degree views of the city. There is a tea room that serves lovely high tea style food. It is farmed so in spring there are baby lambs and calves and daffodils pop up down Twin Oak Drive. Just a lovely place to walk and enjoy the sunshine or take a bike.

“Peaceful Place in the City”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

I LOVE this place!!!

Its pretty much right in the city yet when you are there it doesn't feel like it.
I love the change in seasons here too, spring is my favourite as it has lambs and daffodils and makes you feel at ease. It gives you a good place to exercise, soak up the rays with family and have a picnic or just take in the amazing 360' view of Auckland City.

I recommend this place!
