We went to Coco's with a group of friends and we each did the give-course degustation ($80). It started with an amuse Bouche followed by a butternut pumpkin soup, squid, pork belly and finally salmon and I chose the chocolate dessert. The food was fine but nothing hugely memorable. The soup was tasty but was a very small portion. The squid was particularly disappointing as it's size was terribly small. Three tentacles and two pieces of squid meat. This was a let-down. The pork belly was fine and the salmon was lovely. Desserts were fine as well. The entrees were what let this menu down. At $80 a head the dishes are just a bit too small for the price. Particularly unfortunate is the lack of ambience the restaurant has. The place has little in the way of substantial decor to offset its suburban mall location. Good service and a well-priced wine list are pluses. Good but not great and probably wouldn't venture back.
