We stayed here for almost 2 weeks, with a gap of over a week in between visits.
The apartments are right in the heart of the Central Business District, yet just a short walk from the City Centre.
Both of our apartments had fabulous views of Auckland Tower and the harbour Bridge.
Well geared towards the business traveller who may need to spend some time, there's a washer and dryer, fully kitted kitchen with dishwasher etc. which supplemented otherwise average, spacious, clean living space.
We found the underground parking useful, WiFi was available, DDI telephone calls to the room with answering service was very useful.
Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, this was the kind of service we grew accustomed to as Brits visiting NZ - and liked very much!
Families would probably like the space available, but most tourists will stay in hotels a little closer to the centre. This was, however, by far the best value for money quality accommodation we saw in Auckland.

Stayed at this one because we had stayed at Quest in Christchurch and thought it would be the same.

The room was ok,its on a busy street but the view is good. The bathroom was tiny with a very small bath which only a dwarf could lie in.

Useful, as other reviewers have said, to be able to wash and dry clothes.

It is quite a way out of the centre, walkable but not really convenient.

reception staff were pleasant and helpful.

Good location - stayed in penthouse apartment and got what paid for. Could do with some air conditioning as got a tad stuffy with only a fan. Did not find too noisy however the reception was a bit small for a large complex like this. When booking over the phone - was hard to get a answer as to what I had booked.
Great View. Come from a quiet country town and did not find too noisy. Will stay again with Family.

We stayed here for 1 night in November 2006.
We had a stunning view over the harbour and the harbour bridge

The apartment had just been cleaned before we checked in and everything was neat and tidy. The apartment was better than expected. It had a full kitchen, washing machine, dryer and was quite spacious.

As we had just spent the last 10 days travelling around Fiji and New Zealand, this apartment was just what we needed. We were able cook ourselves supper and were able to wash and dry all our clothes before flying off to LA the next day!

It is a short drive to the Sky Tower and casino and due to our short time here, this is all we had time to do.

We spent four days at Quest on Nelson over the Christmas season.

Upon initial inspection, the apartment appeared to be clean, until we opened the cupboard and found that the garbage from the previous occupants had not been emptied. As the next day was a public holiday, we were left with a full garbage bin, which included cigarrette butts, ash and empty beer cans - didn't smell the best. A continental breakfast was meant to be included each day, but no-one delivered on one of the days and as it was a public holiday, no-one was available at reception to request the supplies.

The apartments were not serviced on any of the four days of our stay and when requesting a service, we were told to take supplies we needed from the cleaning trolley. We also had to request a change of towels as none were provided.

The apartment was small and the bed uncomfortable. The manager also seemed to be quite irritated by our requests for cleaning, towels etc.

Overall, not a very pleasant stay.

We stayed at the Quest on Nelson for 2 nights and rang ahead to book a room. However, when we arrived the receptionist informed us that there was no booking and suggested maybe we had made the booking at the other Quest hotel in Auckland. It was only after much discussion and a call to the other Quest hotel that it was confiirmed the booking was indeed with this hotel! The room itself was very nice and contained full kitchen, washing and drying facilities. This was a bonus as we had just spent 4 weeks travelling round New Zealand, it was great to be able to wash all our clothes before flying onto Sydney.
The Quest on Nelson is not in the best location and is quite a walk to the Viaduct Harbour which is where it all happens, it's full of bars and has some great restaurants, well worth a visit. Overall this is not a bad hotel, but would recommend City Life, which we stayed at on our arrival in Auckland. It also has washing and drying facilities and is a lot more central.

Arrived 8am sweaty after flight from Tahiti, they let me have room straight away, even though check in is 2pm.
Hooked me up with high speed internet, had coffee & bread for toast on hand.

View over harbour, & skytower that improves as night falls.

A little noisy as busy road runs past, but did not keep me awake.
