“Magnificent Choral Music”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2013

The choral evensong service at 5pm on Sundays is the most intimate way to hear the wonderful choir in this very special building. The choir is of a consistently high quality and sing during the school term time (not in school holidays). They sing a full range of beautiful Anglican choral music. It truly is a superb end to a Sunday afternoon.

“The cathedral”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 April 2013

The largest chuch in Auckland with all the trappings that one expects of an Anglican church. We felt that we were able to explore on our own withou being hampered by crowds of people. Easy access and parking, and plenty of cafes etc nearby for a coffee!

“Stainglass windows bring NZ history to life”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 February 2013

The ambiance, the music choral and organ, make for a most memorable experience. The nave is a flexible space available not just for worship but for social occasions.

“Midnight Mass”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 November 2012

I have attended Carols and Mass in Christmas Week, on more than one occasion. Even if you don't have any religious affiliation, this is a really evocative cathedral. The exterior of the building gives nothing away of the wonderful stained glass windows, within the cathedral!
