Lovely independent cinema, just a hop, skip and a jump over the harbour bridge. Really quick and easy to get to, plenty of free on street parking. Shows a range of films from the slightly off beat & arthouse to the big name commercial ones but at lower prices than the multiplex popcorn factories. Lovely coffee, ice cream etc available. Highly recommend this cinema.

So easy to park and good selection of theatres. I go there in preference to the city even though thats where I live.

A lady friend invited me out to the movies and this venue, which i had never attended before. Busy establishment with their quaint small movie cinemas, a pleasant beer & wine was enjoyed with the movie. A very lovely place to be on a date i would suggest.

The Bridgeway Cinema, Northcote Point is a real treasure, offering an excellent choice of viewing entertainment for such an intimate establishment. Comprising 4 cinemas, ranging in size from 150 seats to a tiny 18 seat boutique theatre, the latest arthouse films as well as more commercial releases are shown here. A bonus is the excellent coffee and hot chocolate patrons can take into the cinema with them. Visitors to Auckland, if they are staying in the CBD, can easily take the ferry across the harbour to enjoy this local attraction. Before or after your movie, take a walk around the neighbourhood - Northcote Point has some splendid houses and a meander around the picturesque streets is highly recommended.

We've been here a few times - it's comfortable and has good parking in the adjoining streets, has a variety of smaller theatres - and a really good adjoining restaurant for before or after meals, snacks or drinks. There's even a more formal restaurant across the road, the Engine Room - for those looking for that type of eating.
