We stayed in this hotel as part of a coach tour for a total of 3 nights in two separate blocks.
The first thing to mention about this hotel is that it is at the top of a steep hill and therefore may be difficult for some people particularly in the very hot weather we experienced in Auckland. We found it difficult to get to grips with the Inner Circle Red Bus route and pick up points and ended up walking back to the hotel on most occasions.
The bed was comfortable and the rooms were very clean and the shower was excellent.
Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice.
We also had a buffet dinner which again was very good with a varied choice although the dessert selection were fairly limited.
Overall this is a nice hotel but for us the location means we would not stay here if we come back to Auckland.

Our stay at VR was a very pleasant stay, the rooms were clean and modern. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the manager! We will be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Auckland from Wales and we will return on our next visit!

Stayed here from 20 Feb to 23 Feb. Was given a deluxe king suite which was more spacious I guess. Reception were polite and helpful too. Room was clean with a small kitchenette, if you neer to heat up some food and has a ironing board as well. Wifi was ok. The sky bus actually stop very close by so it is great for those with luggage. Right across the hotel are many Asian eateries and a French restaurant.

This place ticked all the boxes for the amenities it provided but was a bit basic and lacked atmosphere. There were only three hangers in the wardrobe, the phone didn’t work and the carpet was frayed at the edge. That said, it was very clean!

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the centre of Auckland. The room was well organised with a little Kitchenette and everything was spotless. Good value hotel very close to the city
