This restaurant has been around a long time and is in the middle of a student area. We had excellent veal dishes and an average dessert. Wines by the glass were good. Pretty good value we thought. Decor is a bit tired. Waitress was friendly, and most apologetic that they had no fish over the long weekend. Not for special occasions, but a perfectly good meal.

Great food, wonderful atmosphere and reasonably priced. Will be recommending to our friends and definitely going again next time we are in Auckland.

This was a nice small Italian restaurant right across the street from the back side of The Langham. The food was good, and we appreciated not having to walk far to get there. Prices are reasonable by Auckland standards, and the staff was very pleasant. .

Went there for dinner on Sunday 23 March - only reason it was close to our hotel and we felt like some Italian food. Ordered drinks and garlic pizza bread straight up - drinks didn't take too long and garlic pizza bread okay - the base was a little bit on the cardboard side and obviously not house-made. I ordered a cream-based ravioli (sorry, cannot remember exactly which one), and my husband ordered an hawaiian pizza. Pasta was okay, but have had better. My husband enjoyed the pizza. Overall was okay for a quick, cheap-ish meal on a Sunday night.

What a disappointing experience! We have eaten there on numerous occasions and have always loved the food and service. We have not been there for almost a year and looked forward to a lovely Italian meal. The starters were delicious and not even complimenting the waitress on this, could bring a smile to her face. The waitress who served us was sullen, inattentive and the worst was yet to come. She also removed the cutlery which we had used to eat our starters and dumped this on the table, with no offer to bring clean cutlery for the mains. This is an experience I have never had before in a restaurant. We waited over 25min for our mains. The food was honestly bland. Not even asking for salt brought out the flavour. We gently hinted that the food was slightly bland when we left, but there was no offer of apology or "the chef was maybe having a slip up". They seemed non plussed by this and the restaurant was clearly not as busy as we have seen it on previous occasions. I honestly think dining out should leave you feeling happy, spoilt as if you have had an enjoyable experience and not as if you cannot wait to get out of there and that the restaurant simply does not care about the patrons' experiences.
