Great stay in a good location close to CBD - walking distance away. Nice spacious room. Wonderful spa bath in-room. Bought a deal which came with complimentary breakfast and WiFi.
Unfortunately, the WiFi was limited and was dead slow. We agreed to purchase a 24-hour internet voucher for $20, however on checkout the motelier advised there would be no charge. Superb - really appreciated that. Only negative was the shower was a small corner unit - very limited space which meant dropping the soap all of the time. Overall a good stay, good location, and great service. Would stay again for sure.

What a fabulous place to stay.
We liked that it was so close to the main street and all those great resturants, shops and cafes, yet it offers peace and quiet for a relaxing stay.
The room was beautifully clean and well appointed.
Bill and Dianne were a pleaure to deal with and we look forward to return visit.
The spa pool in the room pure luxury.

Room Tip: Choose a spa room and treat yourself

Have stayed here numerous times. Some for up to two weeks at a time. Has been mentioned by other reviewers that the proprietor makes it feel like a home away from home (sorry to steal you comments). Bill (Owner) is simply awesome!! Cannot speak highly enough of him. Has gone and goes out of his way to help me out with any request and more often than not able to accommodate me on them (e.g. getting a cooked breakfast earlier than the stated times etc)
The rooms are huge!! Not joking. So mu space that it doesn't feel like a motel room. Its bigger than one of the hotel rooms we stayed at in Las Vegas! Very comfortable beds. The kitchenette is just the right size (remember to check that your fridge is turned on). Bathroom is good. Water pressure is stunning. Enough to really take skin off it you like it that hard LOL. I'm a slightly chunkier guy, so the shower is a bit cramped for me but still very usable.
Overall do not hesitate to use this motel ever. You wont be disappointed

Room Tip: If you get the chance, and your staying for a couple of days or more, try getting an upstairs room. They are quieter than the downstairs room

My boss started booking us in to Ashwood Manor a couple of years ago and from the very first visit, Bill, who I met first has offered fantastic service, your are always greeted with a friendly smile. The rooms are without exception immaculately clean, and have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
If you feel like indulging in a relaxing soak, then book one of the spa rooms, perfect after a stressful work day, or a long drive. They offer a great range of breakfasts, and are always delivered on time.
They have great attention to detail, on one of my stays I accidently left some clothing in the room when I checked out (and they kindly let me park my car in their park for the day while at the office) they were nicely packaged at my car.
I mostly stay here for work but this accommodation would be my first port of call if staying in Hamilton whether is was for business travel or private.
It's easy to have a great experience once, but have a great experience without fail over many stays is what sets a business apart from the rest.
Thoroughly recommend this Motor Lodge.

I had the pleasure of stay with Dianne and Bill just last week 28th june 2012, i was having eye laser surgeory localy and Bill offerd to pick me up and that was fantastic.
I found my room to be spacious, clean, compfortable and very warm. I also had an awesome breakfast.

The Manor is close to the CBD which is an added bonus.

Why stay else where.
