Hi,
Thinking of somewhere to stay, look no further than the Nautilus, it is very comfortable and well situated on the beach front and close to main shopping centre.
The staff are great, special mention to Restaurant staff, service was first class and great quality of food. Highly recommended

Room Tip: Rooms that face the front, great for views, but could be noisy. Top floor has the best rooms.

Normally I stay at Pebble Beach down the road, but it was full, so I chose to stay at the Nautilus a few doors down. My first impression when arriving on the premises wasn't that great, outdoor decor/seating was rusty and the parking spaces were quite small. I was greeted by friendly staff and given the spill on the free wifi and their restaurant facilities.
Once I got into my room I was pleasantly surprised. Even though the seating on the balcony was again made out of steel and had gone rusty (why not use wodden furniture?). Minor detail, I guess.

That being said, the indoor furniture, bathroom and spa pool are very nice, kitchen is a generous size and the bed is comfortable, yet only a Queen sized bed. TV is better than down the road too. All in all it feels like a home away from home.

Can imagine coming back here.

So pleased that you enjoyed your stay and the facilities of the hotel. The road can be busy during peak times as the hotel is centrally located to the city but we have hash glass in the windows to quieten the noise. Thank you for staying with us.

We stayed here for a night last week and wish we had time to stay longer. Excellent location , spacious room and spotlessly clean. Very friendly reception. Highly recommend this motel to anyone visiting Napier.

Room Tip: If you do not want a huge spa bath in your room then choose a ground floor room without one and save yourself some money

We often stay in different places in Napier and so far this is the best. Lovely decor, awesome spa in suite. Very comfortable beds, brilliant sofas. Very good price for the superior suite. 5 min walk to CBD.
