Stayed here for 2 nights in July 2013. Upon arrival (Sunday) had some trouble, since reception is not staffed after 5pm, and because of late arrival (10pm) no one was at the reception... but eventually, someone came... Parked in the basement-parking garage, which is tiny, with only 10 places. Studio room was very basic, with small TV, very basic tired bed (not comfortable for sleeping), and small kitchen that was useful. Internet for charge, but strange system, as one-day charge is 12 NZD, but limited to 500MB, and those MB tend to disappear very quickly. Staff friendly.

Stayed for two nights, with a grabone deal. Fantastic value. Friendly staff, central city location. Apartment was spacious, modern, clean & you can easily cater for yourself in these. Supermarket a few doors down.
Would definitely stay again

We stayed here for just one night and it was really nice. The location was great, staff friendly and cost was fair. Car parking wasn't particularly heap but you can use the car parks across the road, which you can pay in the evening for the next morning, very reasonable.

The Quest is a perfect little getaway hotel; great location, and very friendly staff who go out of their way to assist. The rooms are modern, tidy and clean, and the décor is business casual and pastel. Perfect place to stay overnight, or for a few days if passing through.

I'd stay here again, and the value for money is excellent.

Quest is very much as expected; clean, spacious rooms equipped with everything required. The location is good although it is a few blocks back from the ocean. And no views apart from the car park. Banks, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes nearby. Wifi is not free but moderately priced. It is free to use the washer and dryer though which was appreciated. The wall heater works well in the middle of winter. Staff are friendly and cleaning staff do a good job.
I had been travelling for a while and needed a bit more space and a kitchen for a few nights and this fit the bill.
It's all very neutral and inoffensive but does lack the flair and character of some of the smaller boutique hotels that I would normally prefer.

The nice old art deco building promises much and the contemporary interior keeps those hopes alive but the service undermined the whole experience. The facility comprises immaculate serviced apartments and although breakfast packs had been pre-ordered (and confirmed by email) they didn't materialise - neither did any form of apology for the inconvenience. The rooms are only single-glazed and with some louvre windows making the room chilly and noisy during a blustery wintry night. That said, the apartments are light, airy and well-equipped and the secure underground parking is useful. But, there's nothing special here and the surprisingly indifferent service spoiled the fun.

This Motel has to be one of my favourite, we stayed here for 3 months, the room was perfect with all the facilities we needed. The members of staff were always so friendly and always made us feel welcome.

Travelling as a couple we wanted a place like it was our own, and found Quest Napier to be the perfect place and opportunity. They offered an extraordinary rate that we couldnt find anywhere else in the Napier area.

Sleek, Modern and home from home, it was cleaned regularly around twice a week, but more if we asked for the hoover ourselves. Even our laundry was free to do and we could even ask for special requests like places to go when we sometimes had to move out on occasions. They also include a free pass to a nearby gym which is just up the road, for your entire stay.

We couldn't have asked for anything else from the owners, apart from thank you so much.
