Quality Inn Napier Travel

Our room was small and quite cramped. There was nowhere to put our luggage. The blankets had obvious stains but otherwise the room seemed clean. We didn't feel that the room met our expectations for what we paid (NZ$160 per night). The hotel is in a good location, but there are plenty of other hotels/backbackers etc. on the same road. We will not be staying here again.

Not the prettiest accommodation in Napier, but easily the friendliest and most helpful reception staff.

Arrived in the evening after travelling from Wairoa where no decent accommodation remained. We got the last available room (Seaview Room). A bit expensive compared to other rooms of similar standard we have stayed in, but the room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and reasonably quiet (except that our room seemed to be next to a laundry or other facility, we could hear some light machinery/equipment noise). Staff at reception were very helpful, patient and friendly. Within reasonable walking distance to restaurants and shops.

3rd year staying here for the Mission weekend and the rooms and staff on reception/housekeeping are all polite and friendly. Rooms have been refurbed and pool now has a great all weather cover, beds are comfy and all our clients raved about the weekend!
One down side that sadly has not improved is Cobb & Co.. the service and quality of food has declined since last year and this is letting the Hotel down. I found the waiting staff, including tha manager disinterested at best and the waiting times for both Dinner and breakfast unacceptable and the food luke warm.
we will be returning next year but will be eating out instead.

arrived in napier on new year's day with screaming baby and without a booking! bad move. walked along marine parade and found this - expensive, but we didn't have much choice. pleasantly surprised at the room - big, with a kitchenette so we saved money on eating out by getting takeaway Turkish nearby. very comfortable bed, we retired early after a shattering day driving from whakatane! couldn't get the spa bath function to work - controls weren't very clear. ah well.

Stayed here last week and had a great time. Our 6yr old loved the pool and the kids meals at the restaurant.Unit was clean, very comfortable and in a great location-across the road from the beach and kids playground. Pool is excellent for young children as has a toddlers pool which is fenced off from the main pool-it is heated which would be great in winter.Have booked to stay again.Brenda one of the receptionists was very helpful.

My partner and I headed to Napier without booking accommodation. We came across this hotel at about 6.30pm at night. The staff were friendly even supplied us with some complimentary magazines. We were really impressed with our room, clean with a lovely spa bath in the bathroom and Sky in the main room. Your own in room air conditioning was fantastic in summer and definitely was appreciated!
Sound wise we found it quiet, it was a Saturday night too. We didn't use the pool, but looked clean and nice. Nor did we use the restaurant. Since it was so central we went for a walk into the city and brought food there.
Definitely found this place a lovely stay!
