We stayed in a top-floor luxury studio suite, for $195 a night. Our host was super friendly, giving us detailed directions on places to eat, and what to see. We also received a small complementary milk, OJ, cheese and biscuit snack and a couple of mint chocolates.

The room itself was very nice. The spa was fantastic, plenty big enough for two people. Might be a bit of a stretch to say you can see the ocean from the spa….you have to look past the bed, across the room, over the road, and out to the beach. I guess if you sat up straight and were reasonably tall you would be right.

The King bed was comfortable, and the kitchen met our needs: microwave, couple of cooktops (that we didn’t use), bar fridge, plates/bowls, wine/drinking glasses. Room service would wash our plates/glasses each day which was really nice, and if we needed anything, our host was more than happy to help.

We also got free wi-fi and were offered to use the laundry if we needed.

Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and looking out to ocean. Be aware that there is a road between you and the beach, and it is a moderately busy road. But we used to leave our balcony doors open at night so we could hear the sound of the ocean, so the road isn’t that busy at night(and it does give you a chance to see some of the art-deco cars/buses that drive around the city). The other thing to note is that the balconies aren’t 100% private, we could easily see the balcony chairs/table for the unit to the left of us (although they never used it, so it wasn’t an issue).

So all up I think this was a very good option to stay in Napier, but it was a tad pricey.

Room Tip: I think top level would be the way to go.

Large, comfortable room with free/fast wifi (something we always look for), lovely staff, clean and well serviced, an easy walk to the main area of town, plenty of parking in a courtyard, and wonderful views from a private outlook whether on your balcony or in the spa in your room. We definitely recommend Pebble Beach Motor Inn!

Room Tip: We were on the top floor and would choose that again.

The room is large, well furnished and very comfortable.
It is also exceptionally clean with enthusiastic and friendly staff. The balcony overlooking the sea is lovely and the spa bath in the bedroom where you can soak overlooking the ocean is wonderful.
Pebble beach is very well situated close enough to the main town but far enough away to be quiet. I would recommend getting a third floor room, there is a small elevator to help with luggage .We just had a wonderful time here.

We enjoyed this motel and town very much. The room was large and clean with a view to the sea and a balcony complete with a table and chairs. Quiet room and a large whirlpool tub. My wife and I are retired Americans who now want a little comfort when we travel.I would highly recommend the motel!

We've stayed here several times before and always enjoy it. Excellent position, just a short walk to the centre of Napier and it's lovely to wake up with the sun rising over the ocean just over the road. The balcony is a great spot at any time of day. Well laid out with good attention to details - welcome basket much appreciated.
