we would have liked to stay longer. good location, lots to eat in the local area, but the hotel restaurant was superb, and did very good gluten free stuff for my wife. room was excellent, place was very well kept. staff very attentive . no complaints at all.

Dear Steve

It's a pity you were not able to stay longer and explore Hawkes Bay but glad that you got to experience the local area of Ahuriri.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review.

Kind Regards

Michele Cole

We had a lovely room across from the beach, with good facilities and a balcony. There is a restaurant/ bar downstairs and plenty others nearby. This area is a bit away from the centre of Napier, but has a character of its own.

Room tip: Ask for a room facing the sea if possible.

The Loft category is where you should stay if ever you visit Napier. The Crown has impeccable service, and is a cosy property very close to the beach. It is accessible to many shops in the area, and a few steps away from the property will bring you to one of the most magnificent sunsets you might have ever seen.

Dear nazn587

The Loft apartment is particularly great when you are wanting that bit of extra space with 2 bedrooms. Glad to hear that you got to experience our wonderful sunsets!

We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back in the future.

The room was very clean, well presented and well appointed. It had a fantastic sea view. The staff were all very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Great breakfast and evening meals at the Milk and Honey restaurant on site. Overall very well priced for hotel and restaurant services and in reasonable proximity of the main city centre and Marine Parade.

We flew in from Christchurch and expected a small motel. The hotel is across the road from the water, has a great littel cafe at the front and is very pleasant. The staff were courteous and helpful so worthy of another visit!

Room tip: Ocena facing rooms are great but if you intend to travel around, its not essential. You also can't see the ocean at night? Hoever, the cafe "milk and honey" is worthy of a visit.
