“TITO'S BURRITOS!!”
Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

My fiancée and I went to titos on our first night in Paihia. We go back a few times a week now. Best food in town without a doubt! Great value! Open late! Can't rave about this place enough! Seriously! The burritos, the hotrolls and the garlic fries! Can not be beaten!

“Laid Back, Good Value”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

We ate here for dinner the night we arrived in Paihia. The place was right down the hill from our hotel so it was perfect for us after traveling in from Sydney.

The service was quick, the food was good; I ordered enchiladas which had a bit of an appreciated spicy kick and my partner ordered something with pork and rice...not sure. She said it could have used a little more spice but was good. There was a gentlemen on the patio singing and a few guests were enjoying the entertainment.

This definitely seemed like a place locals would frequent. These kinds of places are hard to find in cities which are filled with tourists. Overall, the experience was good. You aren't paying steak and lobster prices, so don't expect steak and lobster!

“Best seafood dish ever!”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Well, that was what my wife said. She had a seafood pasta and thought it was the best she had ever tasted. Everything about this restaurant suited us. It was close to our accommodation, homely yet with a bit of class. Good background music and attentive staff. Prices were very reasonble and portion sizes perfect. The only negative we found was we couldn't see the menu from the outside as it was dark and there was no lights out the front.

“Late night meals!”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

I'm a local gal living in Paihia and it is good that Tito's is always open late - it is so convenient for me. I usually order the beef burger with the relish in it, it tastes wonderful and is great value for money - $10 for the burger and some chips on the side. The calamari is also fantastic and the sauce that comes with it is perfect. I've never dined in, but takeaway service is prompt and staff are very friendly.

“Basic”
Reviewed 25 March 2014

This restaurant rated quite highly on T.A. but can't understand why. The food was nothing to write home about and the surroundings were average. There was a musician playing who was quite good. The waitress was French and gave very good service. The meals were odd combinations, for example you designed your own pasta. It was very ordinary presentation and all and all a bit disappointing.
