This is the only houseboat I have been on where it is possible to have a game of pool. Slow, seductive and charming, and that was just the skipper Rowan! Fantastic, fun and the best value for money of any trip you can take in the Bay of Islands. A highlight for us was the night kayaking, but fishing, sushi, a trip to Moturaohia/Roberton island...there was so much packed into the 22 hours yet the whole experience was fantastically relaxing. A big thank you to the crew for looking after our every need. Take note though - any false calls of "Oh look - dolphins" will see you walkng the plank!!

We joined a bunch of overseas visitors on this cruise and had a blast. Kiwis are missing out. We felt like we'd enjoyed a week long holiday in just 22 hours - came home feeling great. They do a fabulous job for tourists but it's just as much fun for us natives. We cannot recommend it more highly and we'll be back again. Don't just consider it - book, you truly will have the best time in such a short time and great memories for ever.

Every thing was awesome! would have liked a shower on day two. Staff extremely friendly and looked after children with respect and allergies with care and attention.

This overnight cruise is on an ex-car ferry converted into a houseboat. The accommodation is basic with limited storage, small showers and small toilets, but that's not why you go on a houseboat. The crew changes, but our crew were incredibly friendly and wonderful. The food is delicious and plentiful. There is chess and a pool table (with accessories). For activities there was, in order, paintball shooting, fishing, night kayaking (with a bit of information about the area), snorkelling and hiking. It is suitable for children over the age of seven. It is a very scenic trip, with wonderful opportunities for photography. The crew runs the activities, during which they encourage you to mingle with other passengers. Overall it is a fantastic journey. I would highly reccomend this to everybody.

We (a family of four with two girls 11 and 8) had loads of fun on The Rock Adventure cruise. We loved the paintball (shooting at a fake duck tethered to the back of the boat), fishing, kayaking, hiking, snorkelling for sea urchins and general fun swimming off the boat. I enjoyed playing the piano (also a ukulele, recorder, guitars and other instruments available) and toasting marshmallows in the pot-bellied stove. The crew were friendly and informative and the food (dinner and breakfast included) was really tasty. For an awesome tour around this picturesque part of the world don't go past these guys. :o)
