A great menu. Wonderful steak, yummy manuka smoked salmon. Fabulous dessert platter, especially the coconut creme brulee. Great breakfasts too. Loved the whole experience. Very friendly, professional staff too and the spa resort is outstanding. Wonderful spa treatments.

The menu is expensive for the portions but overall pretty good. The wait staff were helpful and pleasent and the food came out pretty quickly but the steak my partner ordered wasn't cooked right. The way that the meals are plated is stupid and ridiculous. They are very awkward for the wait staff to handle and end up having to thud on the table - also a weird curve that kept making my cutlery fall off the plate?!

The water tasted a bit stale - not sure how often the jugs are changed over? Otherwise drinks from the bar were good (the bar is so pretty) and the range of spirits is great.

This time the owner seemed to b entertaining there and was a bit loud - it felt disruptive for the price we were paying and while another table seemed to enjoy it we were trying to have a nice romantic night out and it totaly killed the atmosphere. We have been here a few times in the last two years and this was the least enjoyable experience. Not sure that we would be back, maybe more suited to people who are staying at the resort and are wanting food not experience. The music is annoying too...

They do offer a free shuttle service which is really great and probly worth mentioning too.

We went here for a New Year's Dine & Dance. There was supposedly a 7 course degustation menu with wine matches which sounded great. In practice it was a bit different. To be fair the food was really good but right from the beginning it was clear that there was a bit of a problem with the organisation. The pre dinner drink? Not as listed but whatever we wanted to order at the bar. The wine matches? we gave up on these when they didn't come with the food they matched. The dance part of the program? Hmmm - music started from the beginning, it was very loud while we were eating (although the band was good). Would I go back? Not sure, probably not. There are lots of other options in the town that get it ALL right - as opposed to just a few things.

The menu is very overpriced and pretentious. I ordered a garden salad because it said it had artichokes. They had run out, but no one told us. Our main courses - well three arrived, and then we waited and waited. They had forgotten to put in the order for the fourth. Dessert took over 30 minutes. If the food had been good, I would not be complaining. But it was only okay, which is not what you expect when a main course was about $45.00.
