My first Duck Tour. We took the two tour visited three lakes. So relaxed and a fun afternoon. We can be picky about our tour guides and really enjoy the ones who are passionate and knowledgeable about their areas. A little splash but nobody gets wet.

“Really good way to spend a few hours”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Had a beautiful winter day for our tour, cold but they provided blankets, we were also given "duck" callers and told to 'quack' at pedestrians on the town part of the tour....great fun...did a brief tour of a few of the sights in town before heading to the lakes, very informative and fun commentary from the driver, very knowledgeable. Beautiful scenery and great views from some quite different angles ( on the lake in a bus....cool) highly recommend this if you want to see some beautiful native New Zealand bush and lakes but don't have too much time, tour took about 2 hours including a quick coffee stop.

“A "must do" in Rotorua”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Great fun activity for a couple of hours - wet or fine. Take your camera there were plenty of photo opportunities. Driver Pauly was a wealth of information about the area and the history of the Duck. He had a wonderful sense of humour and was really good with the kids. My 10 year old daughter got to drive the duck on one of the lakes, a highlight of our NI trip for her.

Was reasonably expensive but we felt it was really worthwhile as it gave us a good idea how Rotorua was set out before we tackled it ourselves in a rental car and also gave us the history of the area which we would have missed out on driving ourselves.

Well worth the experience. Quite unreal to move from dry land onto water. Saw some wonderful places and our driver had a very informative commentary.
