Enjoyed excellent flat white coffee and lemon coconut slice at this cafe. Staff friendly. Free internet available which was helpful as we were visitors to Rotorua. Highly recommend.

“Cosy, Friendly and great food”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

Went there for brunch this morning and couldn't fault it. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. It was warm and cosy on a wet day and the food was fantastic. I had eggs benedict and it was fantastic - no packet sauce here! Will definately be back to try out some of the other offerings on the menu. Highly recommended.

“A Hidden Gem in Rotorua”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

It is the place to go for breakfast, brunch, lunch and just cups of tea or coffee. Friendly efficient staff. Nice simple decor inside, but it is quite a small place. An all day breakfast menu plus a lot of other choices. The food was delicious.
We really enjoyed our lunch, and will definitely return on our next trip.

“Lunch or brunch it's a treat at PicNic”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

Nice decor inside, friendly folk and good wholesome food, with plentiful servings. The menu choices are good too. It's quite small and very popular with the locals so getting seated is not always easy. (Oh dear now it will be even harder to get in!) There are a few pavement tables for sunny days (with rugs supplied in case you're not quite wrapped up enough). Locations is very handy for the Novotel and Ibis. Great for independent travelers who want to avoid the noise and pace of the coach tour crowd. Pricing is reasonable not cheap.
