Motel situated north of the city and the attractions. People without a car will be lost.
The buildings are a few years old, maintenance - for example of the gardens - could be better. Our unit was basically what you would expect. The handwash basin in the bathroom however, was minuscule - brushing teeth is a real challenge! In the kitchenette one shelf could have done with a sweep. Food in the restaurant was good.

The staff was very friendly, gave informations and made us comfortable.

I haven't been home for at least 4 years but i bought my children to Rotorua from Melbourne Australia last year after their dad passed away for a special holiday ... needed 3 rooms as there was a few of us,had no bookings but the lovely lady at the reception got 3 separate rooms for us.. we were so blessed as this was my children s 1st time in NZ . All i can say is beautiful people, location, rooms ... so handy having the restaurant right there next to our room not to mention the pool / spa right outside our door as well as the private spa's in our back yard, Also just a stroll across the road to Rainbow Springs Etc..... I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting value for money as well as a family friendly environment. Would go and stay there again for sure.....Thanks for making our stay in Rotorua an amazing one.

Room Tip: if you have children choose the rooms right next to the pools as you can see them from your room and...

Anyone staying in Rotorua should stay here without hesitation. Friendly, clean and fantastic facilities. We were greeted by Karen (the owner) who was so welcoming, infact, we were disappointed that we were only spending one night. It was sulphur free (ie. not smelly), and across the road from Skyline and Rainbow Springs. If you are a family, this is the place for you.

My partner and two teenage children stayed 3 nights in a spa two bedroom apartment. I chose this resort because i wanted to be away from a lot of the smell of the geothermal vents so it is a bit out of town. It is a great location wto do the Sky Luge which the family really enjoyed as well as the Mitai Maori cultural evening, Rainbow Springs and the AMAZE Park.

Everything was very comfortable and easy to use and the owners were really helpful with road directions and gave us discount vouchers to many attractions.

Room Tip: We had views to the stream and could access it easily. There really is trout in there.

The hotel is clean, well located and has the most wonderful outdoor, private spa pool.
the view from our room was beautiful with a stream flowing in lush greenery.
Ms. Kitty at the reception was very helpful and pleasant. She made extra efforts to make our stay enjoyable
There is parking right outside the rooms. The room has a microwave, fridge and kettle. The breakfast served in the room is hot and tasty.
Would definitely stay again if I visit Rotorua!

Superbly positioned, just opp the Luge and Rainbow Springs, some of the 'must-sees' at Rotorua, our room was delightful, clean and self-contained, the attached spa pool a real asset for a relaxing holiday. So much to do for the kids in the little resort itself, there was no time to get bored. Our room had added views of cute alpacas grazing in the field next door. The friendly staff and convenient laundry facilities made the stay a breeze. Strongly recommend this hotel and will definitely visit again.

Very resonably price, value for money. Beautiful rooms, odern and elegant. Awesome private outside spa. Had a wonderful stream within natural shrub running just out side the room which sounded very peaceful and natural. Awesome food served to the room. The staff were also cheerful and helpful. Only small gripe was wifi never actually worked untill an hour before leaving. Plan on staying here next time we're in town.
