Prompt collection from the hotel. Lots of opportunity to take in aspects of Maori culture in fairly genuine surroundings. In winter, take plenty of warm clothing. Much of the experience is outdoors. The performance was not the best I have seen and the costumes of hessian dresses on the none-too-svelte maidens was far less than authentic. It is the meal that is the best part of the experience and there is plenty of it. Not sure when pavlova became typical Maori food but everything is delicious. The staff are welcoming and Dennis, the bus driver is utterly hilarious.
