We went as part of a Grand Pacific Tour and the only complaint we had was that we did not have enough time and would have loved to have stayed longer but that was not possible. We had breakfast in the Cableway Restaurant and it was delicious, the views on the gondola going up and down, and from the top were stunning and the luge was so much fun. It is all set out amongst beautiful gardens and the luge had some themed areas that looked interesting. Would recommend this attraction.

Having visited as a child, we took our children (3&6) for a ride on the gondola and luge. Pricing was good, along with pics for sale ($10 for 1 photo $18 for 2 on the luge). Luge has many tracks on offer and kids can either drive thier own or go with an adult). We ended up spending about 3 hours there, but you can spend longer with 4D Spaceship, Skyswing, Flying Fox and restaurant with amazing views at the top. Gondola also has photo packages with mini gondola hanging photo boxes (cute). Really enjoyed our time there.

My partner and I came here for the luge, however it was the last day of the school holidays (silly us) and the place was packed. The staff worked pretty efficiently at getting everyone through though.

Even though the luge was busy, it was nice having a cold cider whilst admiring the incredible view of Rotorua that the venue offers!

definitely worth a visit. try the sky swing and the luge. Or if you are not looking for adventure go wine tasting or try the restaurant.

Having had a great experience in Queenstown we were looking forward to the longer Luge runs they have here. Ride up was gentle but impressive and cafe and shop were very good. Luge runs were spoilt by staff not taking charge of poor behaviour on the track - my wife was squirted on by rowdy teenagers on the ski lift back to the top as she was descending on the track. Other visitors were stopping (groups of 4 or more) and blocking the track.
This could have been such a great day but the staff need to get a grip
