We had a kitchen cabin for two nights.
The room is so large, with 4 beds, very clean and nice.
The kitchen was well equipped and the shared toilet and showrs were clean.
I really appreciate the pool ( not very hot water) and the hot pools open till 10 pm.
A place not very expensive …where I’d like to come back.

We had a tent site for two or three days over New Year's. Some of the tent sites have thermal heating, which would be a definite bonus in winter. The tent sites are close together and not very private or scenic, but there is bubbling mud on site, and a complimentary BBQ. There is also a hangi steam oven (regret we didn't have a chance to use it--they will let you borrow pan if you need it), and three mineral hot pools that were acceptably clean. Shared hot showers and toilets also acceptably clean, Kitchen with sinks, elements, and a zip (which I appreciated very much). Coin op washing machines and even washing line. Also a small swimming pool (which we didn't use). There is private access to the lake, and you can borrow shovels to make your own mud baths. You are not that close to the supermarkets (maybe about 2km), although there are some nearby shops (butcher, veggie shop). The location is good for a holiday park in town, I guess. You are very close to Ohinemutu and St. Faith's Anglican church. There is a nice vibe at this popular holiday park. Recommended if you want to be close to town and don't want to splash out for a motel.

I stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. I was in a flatlet which could, at a pinch, have slept 5 but it would have been very crowded. The kitchen was well equipped and it had a toilet and sink, but I had to use the shared showers. This was not a problem as they were very close and there were lots of them so I never had to wait. The room was very dated and would have benefitted from refurbishment - the TV is the oldest one I've seen in a long time. There was a lot to do on the site - swimming pool, which was quite small, two hot tubs and a nice walk, past a bubbling mud pool, to their private bit of the lake which was very pleasant. No supermarket close by but there's a garage shop which had basic requirements a few minutes walk away. A few minutes drive or a 15-20 minute walk into town. The staff were extremely helpful and had lots of useful suggestions for what to do. Excellent value for money.

We stayed for the one night on the way to somewhere else. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities clean and tidy and excellent value for money considering the small price we paid for our unit. This is not a large camp but with the hot water beach, hot tubs, swimming pool and hangi there was more than enough to keep my children entertained for an afternoon without leaving the park. We enjoyed our time here, recommended it to friends who come to Rotorua frequently, who have already stayed here since we have been and loved it to. You can also see that the current operators are putting effort in to upgrading things as well.

This is a fantastic campsite with a very different feel to others. Not only does it have unique free-to-use features such as a Hangi for cooking and thermal spas, its also surrounded by boiling mud and a small beach.
The pitches are of a reasonable size and the owners are enthusuastic and helpful. They even supply food and utensils to use in the Hangi.
There is a nice feel to the site and we would definitely return.

I stayed in this campsite just before new years and found it very reasonably priced considering the amount of facilitys that are included . On the grounds you have three lovely hot pools which are free of charge for any guests to use a hot beach where you can dig your own hot pool on the shore lake. also this is one of the few campsites we have stayed at where there were free hot showers and nice clean toilets. the kitchen was big enough for the amount of people cooking and i just loved cooking my own hangi meal in their free steam oven. I cant reccommend this campsite more with thermaly heated tent sites . if in rotorua you should give this campsite a go
